THE WOMEN'S SPORTS DIRECT FAI CUP QUARTER-FINALS IN CLIPS - PART 1
MATCH 1: Treaty United v Athlone Town
Soundtrack:
Imagine Dragons - Friction
Game time:
16:22
Brenda Tabe has stormed into this league like a tropical hurricane, scoring in each of her last three starts for Athlone Town.
In this clip, we see Tabe utilise her strength to muscle Treaty’s Mara Mc Cleary and O'Toole out of the equation. The Cameroonian native then swings the ball to Molloy who dinks it to Brennan.
Brennan cups the ball with her chest and delivers a perfectly weighted cross into the box.
Tabe has since accelerated to the front post and uses the advantage of gravity to manoeuvre ahead of the defender and head home.
Clean as a whistle.
Game time:
59:48
Danielle Steer signed for Treaty in July of this year and her quality was evident at Market’s Field last Saturday.
Watch here how Steer expertly holds off her marker before cleverly punting the ball a few yards ahead to cement the edge on her pursuer.
Once the Canadian native spots that the number 3 has hit the deck she pivots and drags the ball past her.
Magnifica.
MATCH 2: Cork City v Bohemians FC:
LOITV Link:
Soundtrack:
M-THRILL feat. Saint John - Roses [Remix]
Game time:
35:09 Mangan receives the ball from Eidson Barrett, takes one touch and pulls the trigger.
Kelly blocks, but needs two attempts to collect - an indication of the gunpowder in Mangans arsenal.
44:36 Mackin dupes the Bohs defender as she scouts for the cross. Note how the number 5 slows down before switching the ball to her right and regaining pace as she drags it forward with her left.
Gangsta
46:40 Katie Malone does what Malone does best here and controls the ball with a fancy flick before taking one look up and distributing it down the left lane to Alannah McEvoy.
The former Hoop plants the defenders on the backfoot as she turns inside and pulls the trigger.

We are not worthy.
MATCH 3: Shamrock Rovers V Shelbourne FC
You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go.
Taylor Swift Bad Blood
Game time:
2:16
Ella Kelly - the Tallaght native appears as if from the ether to intercept Jess Gargan’s pass, feinting with a sweep as she cruises inside.
Kelly looks to be gliding across the turf here.
Poetry in motion.

Miley Cyrus Mothers Daughter
Swish swish, I'm a three-point shooter, I blow through ya
Like a hot wind out in the bayou, ya
Christie Gray risks two penalty points as she tears down the right wing at breakneck speed before cutting inside to pickpocket the ball from Shauna Fox.
Like a MotoGP driver, Gray angles her body so that her knee skims the grass as she glazes the ball across the carpet to Mooney.
Mooney steps the ball home only to be deemed offside.
Scream and Shout
Bring the action…all eyes on us.
25:10
A Triad of troops - McLaughlin, Mooney, Kavanagh.
Mad moves.
26:42
Mooney’s dink with the outside of her right boot to McLaughlin gets better with every watch.
Her ingenuity sets McLaughlin off and running for a one v one showdown with Amanda Budden but pressure from the Rovers backline does just enough to put the markswoman off.
44:07
Fox shows pure skill here as the left back takes the ball down with her chest before lobbing it beyond Gray. Fox then delivers a sweet in-swinging cross that Ralph almost capitalises on with her head, but the Greenhills native is unable to keep it on target.
44:40
Ella Kelly - 10 on The Richter scale.
The Academy graduate rocks Tallaght with an absolute screamer.

NASA themselves must surely envy the rockets that The Reds number 13 has the power to unleash at a moment's notice. Absolute quality from Jemma Quinn here as she outpaces the defence and races inside from that pocket on the right.
Quinn can only be denied by the formidable Budden (who has a little help from the woodwork.)
